The hotel is located in the center of Lacco Ameno, famous for its thermal springs, a 15-minute drive from the port of Ischia. The hotel complex consists of two buildings: the Regina Isabella, built in 1951 on the site of ancient Roman baths, and the Royal Sporting. They are connected by a passage, located right on the seashore in a quiet bay in the middle of a grandiose pine park.
The hotel’s front entrance faces the lively Piazza Santa Restituta, which is home to a local landmark, the Church of Santa Restituta.
In total, the hotel has 128 rooms of various categories, including Rooms and Suites. The hotel’s interiors feature a unique collection: some halls and rooms are hand-painted, Capodimonte tiled floors, majolica, antique furniture in the style of the great patrician villas of Naples, Murano glass lamps, and paintings by Salvador Dali decorating the walls make this hotel stand out from the crowd.

Private beach for the exclusive use of customers, two jetties equipped with deckchairs and umbrellas. The beach available to guests is directly accessible from the hotel garden, and is an ideal space for children, both as a playground and for learning to swim or snorkel. The area facing the beach, in fact, represents one of the largest expanses of Posidonia on the island, and is therefore inhabited by a fauna of rare variety and bio-marine interest, so much so that it is one of the major attractions of the underwater park known as Neptune’s Kingdom.
The Indaco restaurant was opened in 2009, under the direct management of Chef Pasquale Palamaro, and since 2013 has been awarded a Michelin Star in recognition of the achievements of the whole team.
With its gourmet cuisine, the restaurant caters for the most demanding of tastes. It overlooks a small bay, and takes its name from the indigo colour of the water at twilight. Dining becomes a truly romantic experience, directly on the sea and with the stars twinkling over the charming village of Lacco Ameno.
The cuisine is predominantly seafood, and includes the freshest farm-to-table products of the island as well as the hotel’s private garden.

The stylish Dolcevita restaurant has a beautiful terrace overlooking the bay and is open for breakfast and dinner.
A generous buffet is served for breakfast. You’ll find sweet and savory italian products, above all Neapolitan. They are home-made by our bakery or local producers. The kitchen and café will be happy to meet any special requirements, on request.
For dinner, our à la carte menu features both traditional and inventive dishes, many based on fish.

The thermal springs of the Regina Isabella’s baths are classed as sodium-sulphate-bicarbonate-calcic-magnesic, they are waters hypermineral and described as “hyperthermal”. They gush out of the ground at a temperature of 56 and 77 °C.
Another special resource is our mud, collected from the natural quarries of Ischia and left to steep for six months in the thermal water. Absorbing its mineral properties and medicinal virtues, our mud becomes a bioactive thermal mud.
Spa also offers therapies, treatments, massages, diet and fitness programmes, as well as thermal dermatology treatments.
